Creatures of Sonaria Stats: All 51 Data Fields Explained

Updated 2026-09-08 · Last verified 2026-09-08 · Roblox Creatures of Sonaria

Creatures of Sonaria stores 51 fields for each of its 481 released creatures, and this page defines every one of them: what it means, what unit it is in, and what range it actually takes across the roster. Four of those fields are traps that reverse or rescale in ways that make an honest reading come out backwards, and they are flagged first, because every ranking on this site is only readable once you know them.

All figures come from the game's structured creature data table, 4 September 2026 revision, covering 481 released creatures; fill counts, medians and ranges were computed directly from it. The table is edited roughly every other day, so quote the version, not just the number.

Four fields that read backwards

FieldThe trapThe correct reading
turnEvery other movement stat rewards a high numberLower is more agile. Turn is rotation time. Range 0 to 7, median 3. 43 creatures sit at 0 and 7 sit at 7
growthTimeStored as a string, "40 min"Minutes, not seconds. Range 1.67 to 150, median 36
oxygenTime, moistureTimeSit next to growth time in the same blockSeconds, not minutes. Oxygen 10 to 5,000; moisture 20 to 1,200
nightvisionA small number that looks like a multiplierA 1 to 4 grade, not a percentage. 1 is worst, 4 is best

A fifth, larger trap sits above these. tier is a size class, not a power rating: 1 Tiny, 2 Small, 3 Medium, 4 Large, 5 Enormous. The community wiki's own wording is that tier distinguishes different-sized creatures, which is sometimes proportional to damage output and health, and the data agrees with the hedge. The Tier 5 damage median is 300, yet Whispthera at Tier 4 does 650, Kohikii and Polymonstrum at Tier 4 do 600, Archinax at Tier 3 does 500 and Arrainoa at Tier 2 does 400. See the tier list and tier reference.

Classification and identity

Eleven fields place a creature rather than measure it. Fill counts are out of 481.

mobilityOverride silently breaks comparisons. Zakaiodrak has type Flier but mobilityOverride All-Terrain, so a filter reading only type files it wrongly.

biteCooldownDelay between bitesseconds0.3 – 1.60.8
weightBody weightweight units550 – 50,0003,100

Damage alone settles nothing, because biteCooldown triples across the roster: a 0.3 second bite and a 1.6 second bite at the same damage value are not the same creature, and no published tier list for this game has divided one by the other. damage2 needs its own warning. Only 60 creatures carry it, split 25 at Tier 5, 21 at Tier 4, 13 at Tier 3 and 1 at Tier 1, so any "total damage" figure that sums both fields ranks those 60 against a roster with nothing to sum. Rank on damage and report damage2 separately.

Sprint speed falls away as size rises: the Tier 1 sprint median is 141 against Tier 5's 69. Turn takes half-steps as well as whole ones, with 15 creatures at 2.5 and single-figure counts at 1.5, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5, so treat it as a continuous number rather than a grade. Full orderings live on fastest and tankiest.

nightvisionNight vision grade1 to 4 scale1: 69, 2: 129, 3: 147, 4: 136

The oxygen median of 25 seconds is not a typical breath-hold: 271 of the 397 filled values are exactly 25, the default for land creatures that rarely swim, while specialists sit far above it, with Dioxikin at 5,000 seconds and Aqoxturumox at 2,400. Ranking on the raw median hides that split, so aquatic creatures use the filled subset only. Night vision is not a size stat either: grade 4 appears on 12 Tier 1 and 31 Tier 5 creatures, grade 1 on 10 Tier 1 and 17 Tier 5.

Growth and storage

FieldMeaningUnitRange across 481
growthTimeTime to Full Grownminutes1.67 – 150, median 36
venerationRateElder-stage growth multipliermultiplier1 on all 481 creatures
storedPriceShoom price when storedShooms464 filled, 5 – 4,800, median 150

Growth time is the clearest cost stat in the table and the one every subjective ranking omits. Turrim takes 150 minutes to reach Full Grown, the longest in the roster, and seven creatures sit at 140. The shortest, 1.67 minutes, is Arc Dragon of Life, a Tier 5 LEGO NINJAGO collaboration creature and an event exception. Stage names run Teen, Adult, Full Grown, Full Elder, Elder phase II, Sage, Master and Venerated, with Teen at one third and Adult at two thirds of growthTime; growth covers what can and cannot be derived from those ratios.

storedPrice turns out to be almost entirely mechanical. Computed from the 4 September 2026 table, all 464 filled values divide exactly by a per-tier multiplier of 1, 2, 5, 10 and 15 for Tiers 1 to 5, landing on one 16-step base ladder: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, 150, 200, 300, 320, 400. Zakaiodrak's 4,800 — tied with Akanthos and Veishyadar for the highest in the roster — is 15 × 320. This is a store price, not a trading value. The site does not cover trading values, because accurate ones cannot be sourced.

Flight, jumping and water: why a blank is information

Eleven fields apply only to some creatures, and which creatures is itself readable data.

FieldMeaningFilledRangeWho carries it

ambushAmbush multiplier1851.2 – 1.75103 Terrestrial, 35 Flier, 29 Semi-Aquatic, 14 Aquatic, 4 Glider

Three of those rows carry more meaning than their numbers. 174 creatures have flight fields but only 164 are typed Flier or Glider, and the ten extras are Semi-Aquatic and Aquatic creatures such as Zhelijin, Squitico and Gobli; a flight roster built from type alone loses them, which is why flight is built from flySpeed. Every filled beachSpeed belongs to the 28 Aquatic creatures plus exactly 9 Fliers, matching the community wiki's nine-member Skyquatic grouping. And the 77 creatures carrying moistureTime are 28 Aquatic plus 34 Semi-Aquatic plus 15 Flier, matching the permeable-skin groupings member for member.

The exact effect of ambush, dartPower and takeoffMultiplier is not documented anywhere sourceable, so this page gives their shape and range and stops there.

The ability strings

passive and activated are comma-separated lists with an optional bracketed value. All 481 creatures carry a passive string; 453 carry an activated string and 28 carry none. A creature holds a median of 8 passives, up to 22, and no more than 5 activated abilities.

Counting them needs care. Splitting the raw strings gives 181 distinct activated tokens but only 66 ability names, because the bracketed parameter varies: Burrower (1) through Burrower (4) are four tokens and one ability. Passives give 585 raw tokens against 75 names. Any table reporting 181 abilities has counted parameters.

Three prefixes carry fixed meanings, and mixing them up inverts the reading:

PrefixMeaningExample
Block <status>Percentage resistance to that status, written as a decimalBlock Poison (0.70) is 70 per cent resistance
<status> AttackThe creature inflicts that status when it bitesPoison Attack (2)
Defensive <status>The status is reflected back onto an attackerDefensive Bleed (2)

A negative Block value means extra vulnerability, not resistance. Sixty-six creatures carry at least one, across Bleed, Burn, Disease, Frostbite, Injury, Necropoison and Poison; Kelvaris is the clearest case at Block Frostbite (-0.25). The abilities index lists all 66 activated and 75 passive names with their creature counts.

The remaining fields are flavour and metadata: breath, filled on 186 creatures with around 25 types plus exclusives such as Turrim's Heliolyth's Judgement; bloodColor, 68 distinct values of which Red covers 393; bloodTexture; dateAdded in MM/DD/YYYY; imageLink on 437 creatures; and redesign and returns, empty on all 481 and carrying no information at present.

What the schema cannot tell you

The 51 fields describe a creature's numbers and nothing else. They do not encode hitbox size, bite reach, how one ability chains into another, or how a body handles on a 75-player server. Two creatures with matching damage, health and turn can play nothing alike, and a computed ranking that ignores that is precise rather than correct.

That limit is also why the numbers are worth printing. Every published tier list for this game grades creatures without citing one of these 51 fields. This site prints the field, the number, the range it sits in and the data version behind it, so a ranking can be checked rather than trusted. Start with the full creature index, or the beginner guide.

Frequently asked questions

How many stats does each Creatures of Sonaria creature have?

Fifty-one fields per creature, across all 481 released creatures, in the game's structured creature data table. Every record carries all 51 keys, so nothing is genuinely missing. Fields that do not apply to a creature hold an explicit N/A rather than being absent, which is why a blank is information rather than a gap.

Is a lower turn stat better in Creatures of Sonaria?

Yes. Turn is the time a creature takes to rotate, so a low number means a tighter, faster turn. The range across the roster is 0 to 7 with a median of 3, and 43 creatures sit at 0 while 7 sit at 7. This is the single most commonly misread field, because every other movement stat in the table rewards a high number.

What unit is growth time in?

Minutes. The field stores a string such as '40 min', and the roster runs from 1.67 minutes to 150 minutes with a median of 36. Oxygen and moisture timers in the same table are in seconds, not minutes, so the two are easy to confuse when you read them side by side.

Does a higher tier mean a stronger creature?

No. Tier 1 to 5 is body size, running Tiny, Small, Medium, Large and Enormous, and the community wiki states only that size is sometimes proportional to damage and health. The Tier 5 damage median is 300, yet Whispthera at Tier 4 hits 650 and Archinax at Tier 3 hits 500. Read tier as a size class and read damage as damage.

Why do only some creatures have an oxygen timer?

Because 84 creatures do not need air. Of the 481 released creatures, 397 carry an oxygenTime value and the remaining 84 carry N/A, which lines up exactly with the community wiki's 'does not need air to breathe' grouping. A missing oxygen timer is therefore a statement about the creature, not a hole in the data.

What does a negative value in a Block ability mean?

Extra vulnerability. Block entries are percentage resistances written as decimals, so Block Poison (0.70) is 70 per cent resistance, while Kelvaris carries Block Frostbite (-0.25) and takes more frostbite damage instead of less. Sixty-six creatures carry at least one negative Block value in their passive string.
