Creatures of Sonaria Growth Time: All 481 Creatures Ranked
Updated 2026-09-08 · Last verified 2026-09-08 · Roblox Creatures of Sonaria
Growth time in Creatures of Sonaria runs from 1.67 minutes to 150 minutes, with a median of 36, and the number on a creature's infobox measures only the trip to Full Grown, which is the third of eight named stages. The stage order is Teen, Adult, Full Grown, Full Elder, Full Elder phase II, Full Sage, Full Master, and Full Venerated or Ancient.
Everything below is computed from the game's own creature stat table, the 4 September 2026 revision of Module:CreatureData/data on the official Fandom, which holds 481 released creatures with 51 fields each and no missing values. Growth time is filled in for all 481.
What the growth time field actually measures
The official Roblox description sets the arc in one line: "Reach a full adult, and become an elder to get stronger!" The stat table encodes only the first half. growthTime is stored as a minute figure, rendered on the infobox as "N min", and it is the total time to Full Grown. The elder ladder that follows is generated from it and displayed in hours.
That distinction matters. A Tier 5 creature listed at 140 minutes is not a 140-minute commitment if what you want is an elder. Full Grown is the last stage the raw field covers.
The stages in order
The infobox expands growth time into a ladder whose first four steps are fixed multiples of the field. Below is that ladder as the official wiki renders it for Capukoralu, growth time 40 minutes, with the multiple shown where it is documented.
| # | Stage | Multiple of growth time | Capukoralu, as rendered |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Teen | 1/3 | 13 min 20 s |
| 2 | Adult | 2/3 | 26 min 40 s |
| 3 | Full Grown | 1x | 40 min |
| 4 | Full Elder | 2x | 1 h 20 min |
| 5 | Full Elder phase II | not documented | 7 h 20 min |
| 6 | Full Sage | not documented | 13 h 20 min |
| 7 | Full Master | not documented | 19 h 20 min |
| 8 | Full Venerated / Ancient | not documented | 25 h 20 min |
The right-hand column is one creature's rendered infobox, not a formula. The four ratios in the middle column are documented and hold across creatures; the last four rows are not. For Capukoralu the elder steps happen to run in six-hour increments after Full Elder, but that pattern comes from a single creature and this page will not multiply it out for the other 480. For the exact minute figures past Full Elder, read them off that creature's own infobox: a computed 8-stage table for all 481 creatures would look authoritative while resting on one data point.
Growth time across all 481 creatures
| Statistic | Minutes | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Creatures with a value | 481 of 481 | |
| Minimum | 1.67 | 1 min 40 s |
| Median | 36 | 36 min |
| Mean | 41.03 | 41 min |
| Maximum | 150 | 2 h 30 min |
The distribution is front-loaded. Half the roster reaches Full Grown inside 36 minutes, and the long tail is thin: only 24 creatures need 90 minutes or more.
| Growth time band | Creatures | Share of roster |
|---|---|---|
| Under 10 min | 34 | 7.1% |
| 10 to 19 min | 71 | 14.8% |
| 20 to 39 min | 150 | 31.2% |
| 40 to 59 min | 125 | 26.0% |
| 60 to 89 min | 77 | 16.0% |
| 90 min and over | 24 | 5.0% |
Band counts and shares are computed from the 4 September 2026 data table; the minimum, median and maximum come straight from the field summary.
The 20 slowest creatures to grow
This is what committing to a big creature costs in real time. Every entry is Tier 5, and the top eight cluster at 140 minutes or above.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Turrim is worth pausing on because it is the clearest case of a cost that subjective rankings leave out. It carries the longest growth time in the game at 150 minutes, a weight of 44,500 against a roster median of 3,100, and an appetite of 250, which is the top of that field's 40 to 250 range. Its sprint speed is 50, equal to the lowest sprint speed in the table, and its turn is 6 on a 0 to 7 scale where lower is faster. PocketGamer's editor places Turrim in the SS band of a subjective tier list. That is their opinion and it may well be right about the payoff; it says nothing about the two and a half hours, and this page's job is to print the other half of the trade.
Growth time versus tier
Tier in this game is body size, not power. The official wiki says size is only "sometimes proportional" to a creature's damage and health, and the damage figures prove the caveat: the Tier 5 damage median is 300, yet Whispthera and Kohikii, both Tier 4, hit 650 and 600, and Tier 3 Archinax reaches 500.
Growth time is the exception. It is the field where tier really does behave like a ladder.
| Tier | Size name | Creatures | Min | Median | Mean | Max |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tiny | 50 | 5 | 8 | 9.0 | 17 |
| 2 | Small | 74 | 8 | 18 | 18.0 | 30 |
| 3 | Medium | 126 | 18 | 30 | 31.3 | 43.33 |
| 4 | Large | 131 | 30 | 45 | 46.3 | 67 |
| 5 | Enormous | 100 | 1.67 | 70 | 79.4 | 150 |
Per-tier minimum, median, mean and maximum computed from the 4 September 2026 data table. All values in minutes.
Read the columns downward and the medians step cleanly: 8, 18, 30, 45, 70, rising by half again or more at every step. The bands touch only at their edges, and the touch points are exact rather than sloppy: the slowest Tier 1 is 17 and the fastest Tier 2 is 8; the slowest Tier 2 is 30 and the fastest Tier 3 is 18; the slowest Tier 3 is 43.33 and the fastest Tier 4 is 30. No Tier 3 creature grows slower than the Tier 4 median, and outside one case no Tier 5 creature grows faster than the global median of 36.
The one exception, and why it is not a counterexample
Arc Dragon of Life is Tier 5 with a growth time of 1.67 minutes. That is the minimum for the entire roster, sitting below every Tier 1 creature. Its class field reads Collaboration Special, LEGO Ninjago Collaboration Special, its concept credit is LEGO Ninjago, and its date added is 21 August 2026. It is the only Tier 5 creature under 36 minutes; the next fastest is Seradae at 50. Treat it as an event creature configured outside the size ladder rather than as evidence the ladder is soft.
The fastest creatures to grow
Thirty-nine creatures reach Full Grown in 10 minutes or less. The head of the list, computed from the 4 September 2026 data table:
| Creature | Growth (min) | Tier | Diet | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arc Dragon of Life | 1.67 | 5 | Herbivore | Flier |
| Alkaksu | 5 | 1 | Herbivore | Semi-Aquatic |
| Brequewk | 5 | 1 | Herbivore | Flier |
| Jeff | 5 | 1 | Omnivore | Terrestrial |
| Minawii | 5 | 1 | Omnivore | Semi-Aquatic |
| Scuba Jeff | 5 | 1 | Omnivore | Semi-Aquatic |
| Belluvaraptor | 6 | 1 | Omnivore | Terrestrial |
| Prabiki | 6 | 1 | Herbivore | Terrestrial |
| Puffwump | 6 | 1 | Omnivore | Terrestrial |
| Astrothi | 7 | 1 | Herbivore | Flier |
| Beezu | 7 | 1 | Herbivore | Flier |
| Dalitil | 7 | 1 | Photovore | Flier |
Several of these are also the mobility leaders. Alkaksu holds stamina 220 and a turn of 0, the joint-best turn value in the game, and Jeff and Scuba Jeff both carry stamina 215. A five-minute Tier 1 creature is not a placeholder; it is the most manoeuvrable class of creature the data describes.
Veneration rate
venerationRate is the elder-stage growth multiplier. It appears in the growth ladder between Full Elder and Full Elder phase II, and the infobox renders it as "x1".
The useful finding is what the field contains. All 481 released creatures carry the value 1. There is no creature with a faster or slower elder progression, so at this data version veneration rate multiplies nothing and separates nobody. It is worth knowing because the field is visible on every infobox and reads like a differentiator, which it is not. If a future patch ever ships a creature with a value other than 1, this is the field that will show it first.
What growth time does not tell you
Growth time is a complete, comparable field, and it still answers one question only: how long until Full Grown. It does not tell you how a creature handles, how large its hitbox is, or whether its abilities come online early or late. Those are not in the stat table and this site does not invent them.
Two further limits. The elder ladder past Full Elder cannot be generalised from the field, as explained above. And this site does not cover trading values or what a grown creature is worth: accurate valuation lives in two trading platforms' private marketplace data we cannot source, so a number here would be a guess wearing a table.
What the field does support is the honest version of the size question. A Tier 5 creature costs, at the median, 70 minutes to Full Grown against 8 minutes for a Tier 1, and at the extreme 150 minutes against 5. Every subjective SS/S/A/B/C list for this game ranks the payoff and prints none of that cost.
Method and data version
All figures on this page come from Module:CreatureData/data on the official Creatures of Sonaria Fandom, revision of 4 September 2026, covering 481 released creatures with 51 fields each and zero missing values in the growth time field. The module is edited roughly every two days, so re-check the version stamp before quoting these numbers.
Ranking tables, per-tier statistics and band counts are computed from it. Stage names and the first four ratios come from the rendered infobox. Nothing here is estimated.
Next: the full roster on all creatures, what the five size bands mean on tiers, and the starting-out walkthrough on the guide. For the trade-offs that come with a slow grower, see strongest and fastest, and for the field-by-field view of a single creature, Capukoralu.
Frequently asked questions
What are the growth stages in Creatures of Sonaria?
The named stages, in order, are Teen, Adult, Full Grown, Full Elder, Full Elder phase II, Full Sage, Full Master, and Full Venerated or Ancient. The growth time printed on a creature's infobox is the time to reach Full Grown, which is the third stage, not the last. Everything after Full Elder is an elder-stage progression measured in hours rather than minutes.
How long does the slowest creature take to grow?
Turrim has the longest growth time in the game at 150 minutes, or 2 hours 30 minutes, to reach Full Grown. Seven creatures sit just behind it on 140 minutes: Abyssal Geortharoc, Boreal Warden, Caldonterrus, Feral Korathos, Geortharoc, Korathos and Origin Caldonterrus. All eight are Tier 5. Figures are from the 4 September 2026 revision of the game's stat table.
What is the fastest creature to grow?
Arc Dragon of Life, at 1.67 minutes, which is by a wide margin the shortest growth time in the table and an outlier for a Tier 5 creature. Below it the ordinary fast group is five Tier 1 creatures on 5 minutes each: Alkaksu, Brequewk, Jeff, Minawii and Scuba Jeff. Thirty-nine creatures in total reach Full Grown in 10 minutes or less.
Does a higher tier always mean a longer growth time?
Almost. The median growth time rises cleanly with tier at 8, 18, 30, 45 and 70 minutes for Tiers 1 to 5, and the bands overlap only at their edges. Growth time is the one field where the size tier really is proportional to the number, unlike damage, where several Tier 3 and Tier 4 creatures beat the Tier 5 median.
What does veneration rate do?
Veneration rate is the elder-stage growth multiplier, rendered on the infobox as x1. It sits in the growth ladder between Full Elder and Full Elder phase II. Every one of the 481 released creatures carries the value 1, so at the 4 September 2026 data version the field changes nothing for anybody and is best read as a hook the developers left in place.
Can I speed up growth?
The stat table records only the growth time value, not the ways a session can change it, so this page does not rank boosts, tokens or feeding strategies. Two expired code rewards named on the official wiki, Max Growth Tokens and Partial Growth Tokens, show that growth items exist as an item class. No currently active code grants them.
